Is white tape on plaits only for warmbloods?

I've always had warmbloods, and now I have a little TB mare, so can I tape her plaits for dressage or is that just a warmblood thing?

She has got a fantastic neck big and cresty so wouldn't look silly its just I was wondering if its not the done thing.

Sorry im of no use!! But whats the purpose of taping them if theyre sewn in?

I think it's only for posers but each to their own! I dont do glitter though either lol
