Totally know what you mean. I was after a 10 - 15 year old Shire X. Nice, safe as houses, plodderish... Ended up with a 16.2hh 4 1/2 year old chestnut ex-racehorse. I've not been riding all that long. Never ever part with him and yes i'm still upping my game
