He's in mums name but will be transfered to me when I take him to uni 
No wonder the passport system is a complete mess
Nope, neither passports are in my name, nor are their chips. They are in the name of the women who owned them before the people I bought them from. I have no intentions of changing anything either, while the whole system is such a complete joke what good will it do to change anything.
My horses are with me until they die so I'm not worried about selling them on.
I thought I'd I read somewhere, that it's an offence under some act or another not too update the Passport when the ownership of a horse changes, but I stand to be corrected on this![]()
Both mine are in my name. Arab is passported in my name and freezemarked in my name and my youngster is passported and microchipped in my name. Why would you not?
Mine is in my name as is his chip, which wasn't registered to anyone.![]()
I think if you only own one, maybe you're more likely to change the passport.
