If so, have you booked your ticket (free) for the RoR social get-together in Newmarket on December 6th? Free wine and cake and the chance to talk to other ex-racehorse owners - pick up some tips and advice if needed.

Ideal opportunity though to tell your Regional Representatives what you want RoR to do for you next year - educational clinics, shows, demo's, whatever you want - we need to know.

If you want a ticket, then please email me to reserve one: colleensalmon@btinternet.com

There is also a raffle on the night to win an RoR quilted gillet.

And if you have an ex-racer that isn't yet registered with the RoR, then register it now - it's free to join. The only stipulation is that your horse must have run in this country.

Don't forget though, we do still run shows and events under our own name The Speech Partnership and have shows purely for TBs (raced or not) from yearlings through to veterans. We also hold show jumping, dressage and showing lessons, clinics etc. Although sadly you can't register your horse with the RoR, if you are local to us and would like a ticket for the evening then do email me and let me know. RoR is keen to get anyone with an ex-racer included, even though sadly you cannot take part in the RoR qualifiers as such. My email is colleensalmon@btinternet.com
