I used to own one and I think they're great. They're incredibly light as they're synthetic, and they have a nice deep seat which makes you feel very secure. I only sold mine because it didn't fit my new round cob very well, even with the easy change gullet system - sat up too high at the front.
We have one but my daughter wants to sell it as she has been lent a wow and likes that a lot better. She finds the wintec holds her in position too much.If you are interested and live anywhere near me, pm me. It has only been used about 10 times as only used for shows
I love them, I've ridden many different horses in them and always loved them. I feel really secure in them, I hack out in them if I'm on a horse I feel a bit wobbly on and they wedge me in so nicely I feel really secure. If you don't like feeling wedged in, or Wintecs don't fit your horse, then steer clear. Otherwise I'd reccommend sitting on one if you can!
I have one and am pleased with it,it does really hold you in which i'm still getting used to,I stupidly rode in it on a long hack the other day and boy did it hurt.I think i'll only use it for schooling and doing a ridden test now.It does put you in a good position so is great when your doing your test as it's one less thing to worry about.
I have one which dont fit my horse any more....such a shame that it needs a new home as I really loved it. Found them great saddles this was my second one.
I have one and I love it, it does keep you feeling very secure and when I rode in a GP saddle for the first time in a year I felt like I had acres of space around me and really thought I would fall off if my horse moved!!
I haven't ridden in my dressage saddle for a few weeks and tbh it was lovely to ride in it again, and improved my position loads
