Hope all is well

Hello !!
I feel all special with a post of my own
grin.gif

I've not been posting about Sol so you've not missed it , I just don't post about her anymore.

Basically she came back into work around the 1st of June and she stayed in work for a month (of walk , trot and canter work) 5 days a week - still sound (well like she was in the video I posted.)

Phoned A (vet) to say 'Do you want to see her she's having the odd lame step' and he said 'A lame step is better than a lame horse - carry on for 3 weeks and I'll see her' about two days later she ended up needing 12 staples to her back leg (kick) and had to have 10 days box rest and 2 weeks off.

She then came back into work (again) with just some gentle hacking , lost a shoe 7(?) days ago and then fell last week which means she is having another 2 weeks off and then will go off to vet to check all is ok and then will come back into work (again )

So all in all , its been a mixed bag ..

Good Bits -

She's staying relatively sound
She's a different horse under saddle
I actually remember how much I enjoy her
She's happy

Bad Bits -
Been full of injuries
She's been unsettled in the field
Have lost alot of confidence in the fact this IS the best thing for her

Thanks for asking

At least she is staying relatively sound though like you said and you are giving her a chance, something that not many people would have done after how much you have been through with her.

I love the first picture, She looks so happy and content

I'll keep my fingers crossed that things carry on in the right direction for you

Thankyou

Things are going in the right direction slowly but they are moving.
More than was expected 6 months ago so I'm happy even if she does keep me on my toes
