After the serious flooding in my area just before the weekend, we have now had no water since 10am yesterday.
Emptied all the field troughs yesterday, dont know what we are going to do today.
Not easy with 50 horses.

Very ironic and also rather worrying. Is it worth ringing the water authority and seeing if they will bring you a bowser of water, explain you have housed livestock that need to drink?

Luckily, a spud farmer freind of my dads has brought us a big bowser of water.
Forgot to mention the roof of our hallway (extension - flat roof) fell in yesterday, and ther elctirc is predicted to go off at anytime.
Also hammering with rain again.

Oh no! THats awful

blimey you are not having a good time at all. Well done on sorting the horse water out and I hope someone can sort your hall and electric out for you ASAP.

I really feel for you my friend is in a similar situation in glouster but has no electric so only have contact till her mobile bttery dies.

Oh thats dreadful!! Can you rig something up to catch the rainfall for the horses to drink? We have troughs and water butts at the side of our field shelter to catch the rainfall..

[****] Vic this isnt good at all.
We had a smiliar problem regarding water in very hot summer at the stud. Managed to get a bowser in tho because of livestock.

Fingers x hon that things improve soon.
