Isn't it nice when it all starts falling in to place
I was long reining my 3YO Clydesdale this evening and he didn't put a foot wrong. He went past the pig sheds, and the scary tractors. His mouth was as light as a feather and he was totaly tuned in to the bit, so much so that I dropped the voice and he went sweetly. All in full harness. He was totaly undistracted, not even the juicy grass or the super tasty cowparsley tempted him away from the job in hand. He almost fell asleep when I was brushing him down afterwrds. Then I watched him in the field with the others and he is totaly chilled out and settled now. There is nothing nicer than watching horses munching at the end of a hot day. Won't be long now till he is ready to put to. Just a pointless happy post because my baby one is settled and doing well.
