Well September has been very sh!tty

August 31st – had lovely day combined training with prince and missy – they both brought home rosettes and were angels. Happiness didn’t last long – 9:00 at night got a call from YO’s daughter in law(also missy’s owner). Yard is closing and we must move by 12th October!!!

So several v.stressy days including starting sixth form soon followed! But instructor found a nice yard for us to move too(she is at same yard as us). It is great – fab hacking, a play pen and a school. I have never had a school before

September 6th –unaff ODE with missy, lovely dressage, one pole sj, got onto cross country and she p!ssed off between 1 and 2. Got round to 6 – would not go near it so a nice E. They let us carry on so got to 8 a palisade – water – raised pole. You had to turn past the start box and she would not go. There was a horse waiting to start and she would not go anywhere que lots of rearing going bolt upright. Mum ran over and got her to drag me through water (lead rein style). She jumped rail out and then cantered off to fence 9 a tiger trap. We had a repeat of waving to fence judge on her back legs!! Off we went to the lorry park with a very stroppy cow of a horse

Saturday 12th- someone came to see George. She is lovely and is buying him. I could not stop crying as he is the most adorable cuddly pony you could imagine. She just wants him for hacking which would suit him down to the ground

Sunday 13th- took missy to rc show, Warmed up for sj great, really listening to me and jumping neatly anyway got into ring, asked for canter and another rearing fit. Stuck my hand up to retire and trudged back to lorry park with cow – again!!! No more riding her, she is getting too dangerous.

So this week I have been hacking george every night around the fields and having lots fun gallops. He is just great and my mini desert orchid. He even jumped a log in a hedge (this is the pony that is too scared to jump). I burst into tears as he landed as he was so great.

Tuesday and Josh my instructors ex eventer was PTS – he was getting miserable, lame and looked like a hat rack.

We went to see george’s new home Wednesday night and it is great – hacking without a road/lane in sight.

Saturday we’re delivering George to new owners and Sunday taking a fellow livery to their new yard.

First weekend in October we’re moving Prince to new yard and will enjoy the winter competing with him. We’re on the lookout for a horse to buy/loan so hopefully a new addition to the family soon.

Sorry for the long rambling but I think it helps to write everything down.

aw hun. i think that, all considered, it's been a better month than maybe you first think. you're still in one piece. george is going to a lovely home.

i hope that writing it down has brought you some peace.
