Irish, you seem to have found resolve, even if it may be temporary.

Well done, and it seems that reason and a logical approach have won the day! I did worry for you though, and I apologise, it seems to have been needless! :)

Excellent news OP, it sounds like you have landed very nicely on your feet too, so every cloud and all that. I would dispute the bit about the old YO having a breakdown though. I've known a few people who have suffered from mental illness including a full on breakdown , and it never caused them to go and take someone else's horse out to ride, and clearly the problem runs in the YO's family since her brother assisted in the harrassment. Is he ill too??? The cynic in me says old YO's cage has been well rattled by the visit from the plod and she has sent her daughter round to do her dirty work for her. Anyway, your problem is solved and I am pleased for you.

Could you post occasional updates on how things are on new yard

Well ..uneventful night in the caravan last night.. Dog still snores!!!
This morning I spoke to BHS legal line, they told me I've done things right for now, the CPO came round this morning, brought us some ideas on what to do.. Tomorrow cctv goes up, the recording machine is going into caravan as we have electricity in there. Three cameras, one covering entrance, one looking at stables and yard and one that will cover the two closest field gates.
The biggest development that happened about 2 hours ago is that the mad old yard owners daughter came round, never knew she had one.. !! And apologies for her mothers behaviour, she had a visit from the police, and they addressed the threats and harassment, they have given her 48 hours to remove the haylege from the grass verge, (it's mouldy) or they will charge her with fly tipping, the daughter was nearly in tears, apparently her mother is having some sort of breakdown, no excuse for what she did, but it explains it.. She assured us we won't have anymore bother... But we still doing the cameras, as the insurance for the tack etc is lower if we do it.. So we will see... I am sleeping at home tonight... My landlords son said he will be checking his sheep a few times this evening and will check the stables.. Unfortunately he lost 3 lambs to a dog or fox last night.. Sad.
goodnews. (except for the lambs). Hope all is still going well for you.

WOW so sad about old YO but good news that the police took it on. Do hope that everything continues to get better for you on the new yard.
Sad about the new YO's lambs. Seems to be rather a lot of lambs being lost this year. Good Luck

I'm so glad you got sorted, sounds like it was quite scary up front!

Sit back and enjoy the new yard now, it looks like you have landed on your feet. Pity about the old YO and I do feel sorry for her daughter. Can't be easy for her either.
