It doesn't take much to please me!

Ah....I'm a simple soul! This weekend I've got loads of little jobs done and I feel epic! LOL

I've ridden 3 times, creosoted a fence, thoroughly cleaned my stables, washed the barn down, stocked up on hay, had my fields rolled, half my muck heap taken away and been to the local point to point! I've come to work today for a rest.

I've not got a blade of grass mind you but now I have flat dry mud! It's just been one of those hard work but satisfying weekends. And if you look really hard and squint a bit, one of my fields may just have a slight tinge of green coming on it......that may just be my wishful thinking though!

I've been meaning to take the camera down to my ranch and get some spring like pics....so today I will remember! Honest! lol

I'm easy to please too, I got excited when my large round bale of straw was delivered! Lol

Its so satisfying when you get all those things-to-do crossed off. I'm wishing spring to arrive by doing all those post winter jobs too.

I scrubbed my stable mats, gave my tack a thorough clean, washed saddle pads, rugs and grooming kits. Basically anything that wasn't nailed down got cleaned. Started getting the horses fit again after the rubbishy rain and snow and had a week of various family coming to stay, so every thing got scrubbed in house too.
Now just have grandson staying who forces me on epic bike rides every day as well as riding the horses.

I need a rest.
