It Thursday!! **Weekend Plans**

Well I was going to Hargate also on Sunday with some babies but I now have to work sat night and sunday daytime so that buggered that idea up! The only other thing I can find on that hasn't been cancelled is Trent Valley on Friday night! So will be taking a lorry load of youngsters up there, just hope it isn't dark and raining with lots of kids running into me in the warm-up ring!!! It'll be the first time I have competed since I broke my leg last November, just really hoping I don't come off as it could be a disaster!! I shouldn't though because the courses are all only tiny and the horses I am taking are typical youngsters but very sweet and honest. Was looking for something to do sat morning but can't find anything and I don't think my leg is upto jumping BSJA yet, as its still very weak and painful. Hopefully try to sell some of the youngsters if they behave well, thats why I wanted to go to Hargate really, as at least I could say then they had qualified for Trailblazers! I bought all these horses as 3-year olds in september, broke them and turned them away just a few days before I broke my leg!!! How lucky I didn't leave it until later or they would all be unbroken 4 year-olds with attitude!!!

Yippee going to look at some horses on sat hope i can find one to suit in budget.

Sat night friends 40th in the Lakes near Penrith, and 12 of us are sleeping in the village hall cause there's lots of things on in the area and no accomodation left, did NOT fancy camping in the rain!!

Should think Sunday be quiet

Mine starts early as I have tomorrow afternoon off as the saddle fitter is coming out , hopefully with my saddle! yay and so looking forward to having my own saddle again, Yo's been great letting me borrow hers but I feel so guilty especially in this weather.
Eekk hope it fits etc all OK should do as made to measure.
Will school Atty afterwards weather allowing.

Then Sunday I can school again at some point weather allowing then we're off the a Game and Country fair somewhere.

Have also just got the BD assesment forms for Atty so have to fill them in and send them off.

I might go and watch an XC clinic down the coast if it goes ahead. It's on a brand new course so it will be good to see what is there.

Doing BD at Cockshot in Cheshire on Sunday... P17 and N38 (second attempt at affiliated Novice). If it's really raining though, I might be changing my mind. I am just so tired of getting wet at the moment

Yep thats the one! Just spoke to the very nice secretary who said they were going to tear all cheques up, so no need to apply for a refund. As you say, am getting really p****d off with this weather, want to go out and have fun
smile.gif

Yes, sorry it was Hilltop
frown.gif

We walked it yest and actually the XC wasn't that bad, it was the SJ and DR that were the probs.
If it stays dry they may let you go schooling - could be worth a phone call to them.

Might drag Dubh down to Champs of Scotland as it's just down the road, but if it's raining I really cant be bothered!

Eventing is far more pleasant in the rain than BSJA!

Sassy...
Saturday Dressage at Eland Lodge
Sunday XC schooling - if it's dry enough - if not may pop to Hargate for bit of SJ if its dry enough there!!!

Bud... hacking out to build up fitness - the boy is back (hopefully)

Hope everyone finds somewhere to go with all this blooming rain!!!

Hoping to do disc 2nd round but the way it's p--------- down could well be cancelled. What's the point of registering we don't get a refund due to cancelled shows

OK so quite busy - tomorrow having a lesson on my boy and the little girl (first time jumping colored poles for her)
Sat Newcomers at Addington with my boy
Then x-c schooling with the little girl on Sun after teaching all morning.

No rest for the wicked huh

When's Live Earth on that will be good to watch.

i have dressage on sunday doing 2 tests! one of which i always do wrong! but at least im allowed a caller, hopefully mum will keep up with me!

see you there spacemolly, I am taking the weeny with my daughter this time for their first crack at in hand showing together...as of today the show is still on...............

I think I've had the right summer off as everything would have been cancelled if Dolly wasn't lame anyway. Just get upset once rather than every weekend hoping nothing is going to get cancelled.

Saturday - collecting my new pony. A 2yr old Welsh Sec D filly. Very excited. Hope the others like her!!

Evening - party

Sunday - Supposed to be doing RC Area SJ Qualifier, but can't believe it's going to be on

I am going for a hair cut on Saturday (and getting a disturbing amount of grey hair covered over!) I will ride in the afternoon and pray its not tanking down - riding and rain do not equal nice hair do staying intact!
On Sunday we are show-jumping at a brand new venue so no idea how it will be but the arenas look huge and impressive on their website. Jen is jumping like a dream at the moment so am getting quite excited.
