itching dogs

Hi there, both my little terriers have itchy skin under there tummys Ive changed there diets to wellbeing when they get home from the fields I whipe there tummys down but they still itch they are both frontlined and wormed. I was wondering if piriton would help with this so called allergy I myself take cetrazine tablets and was going to give them some of them but wondered what dose to give on both these tablets can anyone help.

If it's just on their bellies it could be contact allergy especially if they both have it, and if they have low undercarriages!

You're not using any shake n vac are you? and be careful with detergents etc... or could be something simply like what you are washing their bedding in?

Down here in Devon its notorious for giving dog allergies with the red mud!

I would cold shower the area as opposed to wiping when home an yes piriton works wonders for seasonal allergies, but you would need a dosage from your vets, get their weights at the ready when you call.
