My tru JRT bitch Lil is scratching something rotten, they are both fed on ONLY JWB or Burns and always have been (hoping that means its not something bad in her food) and she is constantly checked for fleas, so not that.

She is predominantly white, and often gets little scabby bits where she's worried a bit of hair etc away.

She's 2YO, unspayed (if any of that info helps)

Thoughts anyone?

Ah, (rubs hands) they can take time to develop a food intolerance.
Do they get any treats? Some of those rawhide things and nibbly bits are full of colourings and preservatives.

Could also be a household product, spray or perfume, carpet, contact allergy, grass and tree pollen, cigarette smoke (a new one on me, thanks S!) dust mites or human skin cells.

Try eliminating things you think it could be and work from there. You can have a full allergy work-up from the vets (£££) if you think it is that bad.

I feel your pain, hope you get it sorted out.

They haven't had any decent treats in a while really.

I will eliminate on yur list what I can.
Have changed perfumes and has been re-occurent problem, so maybe not that
As above
What is contact allergy?
We have no grass or trees lol
Could be fag smoke but mother mcginty smokes outside.
Could be dust mites/human skin cells ew!!

Contact allergy is when the dog reacts to something is physically touches like carpet, blanket, lino, but may be a product on that surface like Flash, Shake n Vac etc (not pointing the finger, just as an example
