My horse has rubbed around her forelock and it is slowly vanishing! Also there are some bald patches with scabs. I don't want to irritate it further but was wondering what I could put on it ☺️ Thanks X
I've found an improvement using turmeric black pepper and micronised linseed oil. We've not lost as much maine as last year yet. There is a good group on facebook with lots of info
A horse in our field has a severe sweet itch problem.Every potion had been tried. Then Neem oil was rubbed into the crest and tail, face and legs.Within hours his skin was calming down and it has worked fantastic. Now days from being a scared, hated to be touched horse because of his itchiness and sore parts the difference is huge. His eyes are gentle again and he stands for his daily oiling eyes closed, sweet relief. The oil was got from Pro Equine and is cold pressed.Best wearing old clothes as the curry sort of smell can be a bit strong.Standing the bottle in the sun or in hot water makes it runny and easier to apply.Worth the effort though when you get results.
