Hi All!
Super went into labour at 9pm last night and foaled at 12.30am this morning to a beautiful little colt. He's black at the moment with a big white blaze. They were worried at first as she was a little nervous of him and wouldn't let him suckle but he's doing alright now

She's a bit protective of him but that's to be expected

I'm downloading pictures as I type, so I'll send them ASAP. I have a video as well, but not sure if I can get it to work yet!

No names as yet, but I was hoping to call him, Huntingfield Diamond or Huntingfield Diamond Pride or Huntingfield Diamond Rebel (He's by Huntingfield Rebel out of Super C D who's got King of Diamonds on her sire side and Pride of Shaunlara on her dam side) I'm open to other sugessions

Standby for photos!!

Congratulations, you must be thrilled!!!! No ideas on names I'm afraid, do you think he'll turn grey as both mum and dad are grey!! Can't wait to see photos!!

That's great news, really pleased for you!

Not sure about names, but if Huntingfield is not your own prefix then you won't be able to use that as it will be protected by the breeders if that makes sense. I like Diamond Rebel or D Pride though!

Photobuckets taking it's time downloading......

Yes he will turn grey as Huntingfield Rebel throws 100% grey anyway.

He is soooooo cute, I noticed his latest game is to walk under mummy and give little bucks while he's walking under her - we'll see how long she tolerate that - LOL

So far she's being a very good mum, if he goes out of sight she nicker to him and he'll nicker back....so sweet. He seems to like when she walks about because he gets all excited and trys to run around, but he's still finding his feet so it's very funny

Jeezs... just checked photobucket and it's still downloading!!

Didn't know about that, but I'll ask the owners if I can use it.
Diamond Rebel is growing on me, but I would love to stick Huntingfield before it

thats great news. cant wait to see the photos.

Dont know about the Huntingfield, but when I asked Louella if I could use Primitive for my foals name they said there was no problem with it - double check with the stud!
