It's been 3 months since Dylan was PTS

And I'm in serious need of a cuddle

I miss him so much, I feel like it's never going to go away. I still cry when I think about him, it still hurts like nothing on earth, and I'd still do anything to have him back.

He was my once in a lifetime horse, and I never expected to lose him so suddenly or so soon; I'm completely heartbroken.

Unfortunatly your grief won't magically disappear but it does get easier to manage and live with in time. If it feels just too awful then try to remind yourself that the feeling won't last for ever, get from one minute to the next, the feeling will lessen.
Until it is more bearable we are always here to offer hugs, so at least you know you aren't alone.

You are not alone, there are plenty of us who have felt like you, when i lost my Jack i was inconsolable for ages, getting another horse helped but it has still taken 18 months to not have days of crying about him, the pain will lesson in time. x

As others have said, you are not alone, I lost my chestnutboy 6 weeks ago. I have just had the vets bill this morning and also the farrier rang me wondering when I wanted him shod again. I have been in tears again as I miss him too

Big cuddles to you Dibs! It's hard to lose anyone you love (no matter how legs they have), but early and suddenly just make it that bit harder. Being so sad for so long is the price that's paid for love... and as much as it hurts, it's worth it 80)

If you ever want to talk about him, or want to dig up a few photos then I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd enjoy them with you 80)
