Arrived at the yard this morning to thick fog so couldn't go for my usual hack. So I decided to go in the school which isn't my favourite thing to do. To make it more interesting I put up a couple of small jumps. You're probably thinking so what's so special about that? Well I only returned to serious riding about 2 years ago and haven't jumped since my late teens. I'm now rapidly approaching 50 so feeling rather pleased with myself and surprised how good and natural it felt. Pointless thread but just wanted to share :)

I was very pleased with myself at the time and amazed it felt so natural, however, I'm paying the price a bit to today with a few aches and pains :D Although, still better than trying to ride a bike again after years, give me a horse any day!

Wahoo. Well done. I've just gone 49 and hope to teach new neddy to jump at some point

One of my friends is 72 and did an eventer challenge last weekend :)
