many apologies for not keeping everyone up to date with our outings, will try to keep it as short as possible....
March seen us off to our local dressage again for the final of the league, we werent quite in the running this time round having only been to one of the 3 dates. 2nd in prelim with a really smart test and then rode a fantastic novice for a 69.5%!! I have since been informed by RI that we will be attempting elementary next year!
Then in April our show season began! We have now started competing locally in hunter classes (both in hand and ridden) alongside our usual coloured classes which he seems to be excelling at since he only went and came home with two 1st's and 2nd's
There were quite a lot of tears shed out of pride.
3 weekends ago we were back to the same venue and same classes just to see if the first outing had been a fluke.........
....it hadn't!! Only went and came home with another two 1st's and two 2nd's!! Lots of pats for T and moments of 'wow'!
The weekend just passed seen us at Fife show where in less than ideal conditions he pulled a 2nd and a 4th out the bag which we are all thrilled about!
There has been so much hard work and effort put into this horse, I am so pleased that it is starting to pay off and that not only the judges see it but those who doubted us have been proven wrong!
We also have a new mascot, Maisie the jack russell
