ive not posted on here for a while, but thought i would update you all on how Trigger was doing.Well im happy to tell you all that he is doing really well. It took a while for him to settle after the fire, and he lost a lot of weight.im starting to wonder if hes getting a bit fat now...lol... He also rubbed all his mane off, so when i clipped him, i also hogged his mane.he has come through it better than ever. i had the dentist out to him and he told me he thought he was in his mid 20s.Haha he acts like a 4yr old sometimes.Although he is healthy, ive decided to semi retire him. I think he deserves it. Im riding him 3 or 4 times a week, just gentle hacking which he loves.ive also decided to buy a younger horse. His name is Phoenix, hes 14.2hh appaloosa ( blanket spot). He is 5yrs old.His father is August Dakota.Im hoping to do some showing, jumping, etc. Basically just having some fun. Anyway, hope you all like him, will get some better pics soon.. x x ( sorry for the pics over load..lol.. )

Gosh they both look absolutely yummy!! You will be spoiled for choice when deciding who to ride on that pootle hack.

So glad to see he is doing so well, thankyou for updating us!

a bit fat? VERY fat! And new horse whilst lovely is at the top of what you would want him weight wise! Just picked that up reading your post about him supposedly being skinny..

God, has it been nearly a year. Was this the horrific phone messgae left, petrol fire? To be honest, if I was in the same position I wouldhave spoiled my horse rotten too and he too would probably be fat!

I too remember your tragic story, thank you so much for the update, it is heartwarming :)

Unlike SusieT, I do not think he is VERY fat, he is a little too well covered though, unsurprisingly as I would also have spoiled him rotten after his terrible ordeal too.

Love your new chap, he looks super :)

Wow, just read your post from last year. So very glad Trigger has made such a good recovery. Agree he is a little on the chubby side, perhaps you'll need to restrict his grazing a bit now he isn't burning all the calories either recovering or working. He looks great for his age though. And you new one is v pretty! Happy riding :-)

thank you all for your replys. i do think he is on the chubby side. i have put him on a diet. The beach in the pic is Blackpool ( its where i live ) As for the guy who did it, there was not enough evidence, so that was that. x x

Dear God, so he got off with it! The law is an ass sometimes, I am sorry

susieT - don't join the diplomatic corp! God, someone puts a happy post on after an awful ordeal and you just bitch how fat the ponies are::(

I cant believe he got away with it, evil twisted barsteward.
Ponies are looking fab yes they are a little plump but you know that and dealing with it so no point going on about it.
Glad it all came good for you in the end and hope you have years of fun with both the ponies

Really glad to see an update and that Trigger has recovered and doing well, especially after such a horrific incident. Good luck with your new one too :)
