It's blowing a gale out there! In or out?

In fact Bill has been without a rug since Sunday, it's been so warm. But I relented and put a 100g in case it buckets. He has plenty of shelter, natural and shed, new bale went out on Sunday so there's no reason for him to be in!

Yes, the wind keeps me awake at night and I fretted last night about the Girls but looked out this morning and they looked v happy just playing together! ID has just a lightweight on and she still hasn't lost any weight so think its a good thing she's out!

All mine out, unrugged, plenty of natural shelter. Used to hate bringing mine in when it was stormy but they were used to being in at night now they all live out 24 / 7 all year round I am much happier in weather like this. I think they are safer out.

in the byre-probably until tomorrow afternoon but maybe longer depending on how wet it is, we had a lot of rain yesterday and the fields are awful.

My fault re the old thread being reignited 😂 I am new to this and just put in "horses out in gales" 😊!!!
Sorry about that would love to know any other thoughts on this weather and our horses as - it's super mild yet stormy!!
