I'm actually a hopeless speller (very slightly dyslexic) but there are some spelling mistakes that get made so often they begin to irk me.

Now that one is a funny one really as strictly speaking, it IS manege. But it has been used incorrectly so often that I believe it is now added to some dictionaries. I may be wrong there.

That one about manège and menage is one that I find very peculiar, as I live in what is in parts a French-speaking country so I'm used to riding in a manège (covered school, outside school is a piste) and saying hello to next door's 'femme de ménage'.
