It's CONFORMATION not CONFIRMATION. (Pedantic thread)

I've read 'bored of' something so often I no longer know if it's incorrect. Can some one confirm one way or the other please?

ps.My spelling isn't good myself but hopefully improved since I got a decent spell check on the browser.

I typo-ed when I corrected "hyperthetical" earlier. Apparently I was talking about "anythign" :o Epic fail :D

I have so many sticky keys though, it's a miracle my posts make any sense  (Maybe they don't?)

Ha, yes. It's sods law (or is that sod's law ) you make a typo when correcting others. :D

I'm actually a hopeless speller (very slightly dyslexic) but there are some spelling mistakes that get made so often they begin to irk me.

It's safer to call it a surface !!! I apologise if my useless spelling/ grammar is upsetting anyone but I have to confess I just can't be bothered on the forum because I am in play mode.
And I awful at typing because we never learnt at school because I am so old we wrote with fountain pens and ink at school .

It's it's ;)

What about "I pull on the rains but I have no breaks"?

That one about manège and menage is one that I find very peculiar, as I live in what is in parts a French-speaking country so I'm used to riding in a manège (covered school, outside school is a piste) and saying hello to next door's 'femme de ménage'. :)
