Its driving me mad - need your advice

I posted the other day about my pony eating his straw bedding

I have decided to change bedding but dont have a clue what to change to as there seems to be so many.
He is very messy and just tramples everything round the stable. His stable is fully matted.

so what bedding would you suggest i try?

I love wood pellets, but it really depends on what you get on with!

Also are you in livery cos they have too dipose said bedding. shavings or wood take a longtime to break down.

On DIY, as far as i know we just can't use shredded paper

Shavings bed with big banks and only a inch or so on the rubber matting, that's what I do for my girl who is DIRTY!

whats the average price for shavings now?

I think deep littered wood pellet bed at the back and mats at the front, if you can afford them. Deep littering is the only way I can manage my mucky gelding. Much less work
