my little pony has colic vet just been out for the 2 nd time so in 2 hrs if she is showing signs again a trip to bell but on the + side ,tap was clear , tube done, heart rate normal ,temp normal , so my pony will be ok and might get some sleep x
 
were at Home which is a good just a waiting game now horses can get u just as worried and stressed as our own kids when there ill the only worrying thing when vet did a internal she felt a band think she said that culd mean the gut has moved not sure to much info to take in all in one night does any one know x
 
well it was a very long night my pony didn't improve trip down to bell in the early hours had scan tap tube temp etc all good but they felt it was a descended colon caused by the gases if she didn't keep pain free from the strongest pain killer then surgery to release them but I haven't had a phone call to say they had to do surgery yet I'm keeping every thing crossed right now poor little pony
 
So sorry to hear of your pony, colics such a scary thing, ive sat up through the night and had the trip to the dick vet in the early hours before, so now how shattered and worried you'll be. Hopefully you'll get some good news this morning. Fingers x'd for a good phonecall
 
thanks peeps she is holding her own atm they said she will get a handful of hay this afternoon got to say been crossing everything she doesn't have to go to surgery (got insurance so money not the problem) will ring vets soon
