Anybody else had a huge hail storm today ??????? I want it to be summer, so I can have naked ponies !

Yes, been alternately raining hard and sleeting all morning- it's like 8 degrees here Pony is back in MW rug despite having been naked for the day a couple of days ago, and in a fly rug for a while!

7.15am with me, 17C and rising, close and clammy, storms expected.
Ah well, the grass is growing before my eyes so I can't complain too much.

No hail but it is cold and alternating sun and rain. My lad will not be having a rug back on now though, he will live. I checked him earlier and he was warm and eating and not using his field shelter at all...so it cant be that bad.

We've had sun, clouds, rain, and now dark grey skies and hail . Just brought the horses in ready for a hack... don't mind riding in the rain, but hail!

We didn't have the promised rain yesterday so we have it today instead - with hail storms just to break it up........

I read somewhere that mother nature is bi-polar and days like this is where she has stopped taking her meds

It's been miserable and cold!! here too, no hail yet though, but wouldn't suprise me if thats next!

It certainly did hail - as I was going up for my turn in the show jumping!! you haven't lived until you've jumped in hail xx
