---- or is it. Can anyone tell me if the Magic single dose syringes work. Have you noticed a difference. Just want to take the edge off my big fella before ridden showing.

My friend used it once and it makes no difference at all :(

I Haven't used it myself but I have heard good things about the Oxyshot syringes. No more expensive that Magic but "apparantly" very effective :) I will give it a go when I take my lad out :)

I tried some on my lad for a lesson. There was dog agility going on in the arena adjacent!!!. Definately took the edge off his spooking, but half way through the lesson he practically fell asleep, I would have been as well getting off and carrying him. :p

I didn't think oxyshots made much difference at all tbh. Although the liquid is basically water, so it's difficult to administer, perhaps it didn't work because I had more on my jacket than in him.

I found they helped my TB when I took him XC schooling for the first time, he is usually difficult when we at arrive at a new place but he was really well behaved, he even tied up to the trailer for the first time EVER (usually this is a big no no!).

I have found it fab and to really work, but each horse is different.

If you follow the instructions correctly and I give one the night before or first thing before you go, then at the intervals suggested it should have a positive impact I use the 2 or 3 syringes.

I also found it helpful to look at my warm up and to make sure they are worked in well as they will always pick up when in the ring and manage to have enough energy!!!
