I got yet another text from YM today, saying that Ned is dangerous. He's really not! Especially not in the field! He's a complete pain in the backside, sure! But not dangerous (at least not to anyone but himself).
Apparently, one of the novice liveries was waving a shavings fork in his face and trying to jab him with it, saying he was evil! The poor boy had done NOTHING wrong. I was told he was standing there looking a bit confused.
Thankfully, as I was getting texts from YM, I got a text from a yard which has fantastic fields, that he can't jump out of woo! So I'm thinking of going there. I'm going to look round in a few days
I know why he's gone like this and YM agrees - MARES! We have enough land to separate mares and geldings, but it's not going to happen. YO only had 2 mares and they were never a bother to any gelding. YM decided to buy in a bunch of hormonal mares and it's really upset the entire yard.
So much for 12 years of loyal service. YO would never have kicked me out.
A little fed up, but glad that I'm getting out of there.
