That my 2 ponies are fed up with hay!!!
We have about a foot of snow on the ground at the moment.
All 12 horses are in at night with ad lib hayledge,and put out in the snow covered field during the day with hay.
Today,we have just been watching the 2 smallest ones digging the snow out of the way,so they could reach the grass,despite being plenty of hay out for them.
Shows you have brains boys!!!!
The others, all mares are happy enough with their hay.

mine too. But they're too stupid to dig so they're just standing at the gate looking miserable and retarded! Stupid TBs!

Walked to the yard to check on ours yesteday cos we haven't been able to get there for a few days, and they're totally ignoring the haylage stuck out for them and are digging through the (very powdery) snow to munch on the grass instead
