Raining in Cheshire and I really really don't want to go out. Have got as far as putting my jods on but am now thinking of getting changed into my PJs and spending all day eating Twirls and crisps!! Anyone else suffering from a dose of the cant-be-bothereds?

Have already been to the yard, poo picked, fed/hayed and changed their rugs. And am also planning on staying put on the sofa this afternoon with a glut of eater eggs to demolish, series 2 of Downton Abbey, and a wet dog for company =D x

Its bouncing down here ( in St Helens), wasn't too bad when went down to the yard this morning, don't feel like venturing out again though!

My FB status today

Had a lovely ride in the rain :-), his ginger highness behaved well, did socialising with some doggy people, good PC ;-) , educating them about why we do things like feet teeth clipping and problems we get etc, cup of tea off yard owner just before I went, and one when I got back, timing was just right :-), did mean I had to get off and go in the bushes half way round the ride though, wish his gingership would stand still, I don't fanny around when he has a pee.........

Up, fed, turned out and mucked out by 8.30... Tacked up and rode for exactly four minutes before realising i really didn't know why I was doing it, came home and watched Murder she wrote in my dressing gown :~)

I'm still in my pjs, havent had a whole day off for ageeees! Horses are being checked on as in the field now. I plan on doing nothing at all all day for once!

Was meant to be xc schooling but the place is waterlogged, so they cancelled this morning :( fed, mucked out and turned out, did some shopping and sat down for lunch ...... Still sitting, feet up, middle on the telly, i shouldve just kept going as cba now ...... Ooh look, its the sun now

Horses turned out, stables mucked out and prepared for them when they come in,and have done the feeds and haynets for a few days.Collie dog Sam and naughty Labrador Luna joined me for the morning session and played with their doggie pals.Home again read the paper, did the crossword and fed dogs.Might try to finish my book.I have enjoyed chilling out at home, watching the much needed rain fall and hoping my paddock grass picks up.Will go up later with collie dog Sky,poo pick the fields, bring horses in ,change rugs etc,and contemplate going back to work tomorrow. Was intending to clean WB's sheath as this needs doing but may postpone to another day. Also thought about some tack cleaning, but theres always another day.A bit of rain is great for an enforced break from routine.

Haha! Was scrolling on my phone and misread the title as ' I've got lazy tits'!!!

Caught my attention!

I've been lazy today too, though I mucked out and ride before 9.30am...left the boy in for a duvet day, and have been planted on the sofa ever since!!!

Yep s- till in the PJ's but wasn't planning on going to the yard until after 5 (when its quiet) but have decided loose schooling is in order instead of riding :-)

Erk I'm supposed to be finishing my dissertation (hence me being on HHO :p). I did go up and shove my unwilling pony into the field though, and then mucked out before I came home. But I think that was just so I could procrastinate a bit more :p

Me too!

I've been slobbing all day, think I've got another kidney infection. Going to try and sort the horse out in a bit then drag myself to the out of hour doctor.

Should have been using this weekend to do uni work, and so far I've managed to print out an assignment guide. That's it.

Procrastinate? Me? :o

I got up early, laid new bed (disinfected stable and lifted mats yesterday) and brought in - then poo picked in the rain with another livery (7 barrows but not so bad between us, this is from a field of 8 but not all ours!)

Then came home soggy and been lazy since. Will go back up at 4ish to turn out, muck out and soak hay for the morning. Then really should clean all my tack :(

Hmm, ridden last four days, so conveniently he's having today off ;)

Sat on sofa watching tv, and was doing so merrily with a post lunch cuppa and brownie, until acw295^^^^^^^^^^ above made me think I should probably clean my tack, so I'll be doing that and moving away from the fire after my cuppa now :p

So glad I'm not the only one! I'm trying to bring my four year old back into work but as I have no school and the field looks like a pond I've given up for today! All ponies checked and fed and then I'm back on the sofa watching Jeremy Kyle!

Have been to buy some new trousers for work from the Sainsbury's sale and will be going to poo-pick soon, now they are in spring paddocks, no more hay to feed, and only one wants a handful of food for supplements.

We always get lazy for a couple of days once the horses move from their winter paddocks, as all they want to do is eat, and we celebrate no more hay nets for a while! :D

Work. Horses. McDonald's for lunch. Bath (at home - it's not on McD's fixed menu ). Work (wilt film on in background). Will send D1 later to sort two that are in n being two more in for the night ;) :D

I've been spinning it for a week now cos I had surgery last Mon but I really want to be playing with my pony rather than googling symptoms of infected stitches and deep vein thrombosis! I have even resorted to putting on a pair of rugby socks to act as surgical stockings as my legs have gone so dead. I will def be dragging my butt to yard later to get the circulation back!

Completely lazy today!
It's been raining non stop all day here and as it was so dry up until now, everything is water logged (burst pipes yesterday didn't help!). Horse is out regardless though I don't fancy riding in the field with it still being so solid underneath all the water. I had great intentions to take him for a hack down the road but there's too many bank holiday drivers about (they've a whole different rules of the road', didn't you know? ;) ) and also have a loose shoe and a nasty cough so hack is out!

Instead sitting at home watching Fairyhouse (roll on the Grand national!) and eating chocolate!

Been tack shopping instead of riding. One's a little bit broken and i'll get on the other one for a little bit just before I put them to bed. Feeling very wet play time though. :-(
