It's still raining!

Well its still raining here in the north west. I had complained about the horse flies and the fact that the grass had stopped growing a few weeks ago and it hasn't stopped raining since!
I've come back today from a fantastic 2 hour ride and long the river banks in the rain.
No kids on bikes, no dogs off leads a lovley peaceful bank holiday hack.
I love riding in the rain

Been raining here in Surrey for the past hour. It's that horrible light drizzley rain though but hey at least it's raining!!!!

mon - on the duck front, a friend has just bought two runner ducks. She insisted her OH go to great lengths to dig them out a pond. Two week-ends later and a broken back, said pond duly dug. The ducks hate it, they won't even stay out when it's raining and run into the chicken co-op
On the rain front, lots of lovely rain in Leamington Spa, which we really need. What a shame it's all our local village carnivals though

Came over all black just now but passed over with only a few drops. Whoever turns the taps on up North turns it off again down South. Hay crop non existent here so if we manage to get hold of any it will be silly prices.
