Right then folks, its the 1st of Decemember tomorrow and guess what that means I hear you all cry???
Its time to get into the spirit of Christmas and get all jingley and sparkly and fill the forum with festive fun & frolics!
So we need:-
1) A Christmassy Signature, ok so we've not had any snow to take lovely pictures of your horses but you can decorate your fave photo and add your own sparkle and glitz!
2) A Festive Yard - you need to attempt to put up some kind of decorations up around your stable
...come on don't be dull and boring, dig out those antlers for your horses ears and hang out your neddies stocking, and if nobody has planned a yard Christmas P*ss Up, now is the time, all go out for a meal and make the effort to have social get to together....without the nags and the jogs, get your glad raggs on and get all spruced up and have a nice time with a few bottles of wine.
3) Christmas Wish List
- This has to have at least items on and be done down at your favourite tack shop, bin all that old stuff in your tack room that's collecting dust and cobwebs and treat you and your horse to a new wardrobe so you can ride out this winter in style!
4) Winter competition reports and photos - ok so its cold, it's wet and some days it's just down right horrible but that is no excuse to hibernate all winter, you must make the effort to go somewhere even and have a reason to keep up with your schooling, or for those of you on large yards you could organise a Christmas Fun Show or throw something on for the younger liveries so they can have some fun with their ponies or just make the effort to go out for a long winter hack with all your friends, how often do you all make the effort to all meet up and hack out together?
5) Have your SS sorted, wrapped, signed sealed and delivered in time
6) Hot bacon rolls, a tiple of mulled wine and fresh hot mince pies every weekend down at the yard with your friends when your go to mucking out,
it will warm the cockles and set you up for the day!
