It already happens. I get someone calling into my yard at least every month asking to buy one for their garden cause their 1yo would adore a little pony to play with. Starting to be tempted to send one with them and see how long it takes for them to bring it back saying it’s not like a dog and they didn’t think it would kick a child...

Blimey, I’ll get ther the wee stallion Falabella I once saw at a show, jumping a narrow drain like it was going round a course! He was a proper handful.
