prince has just had local injected into his sacroliac and the needle was a whopping 10 inches long, maybe even longer, im not very good with inches! he was knocked out so didnt feel a thing. i couldnt look. my friend had to hold him! new girl grace was stood in her stable smelling the achohol stuff that he cleaned his bum with. pointless post but just couldnt believe the size of it!!

Ouch!!! When Mels had her hock inj even the needle used for the local was huge, and then the actual needle that went into the hock was sooooooo long!! urgh! x

and they are quite chunky needles to! could cope if it was quite fine but it was a beast!!

Tell me about it - I nearly passed out when I saw the size of the needle when I had Kels chipped last spring. It must have been the size of a biro. Luckily the vet gave her a local before she did the chipping.

I couldn't watch the procedure!
