A huge and genuine WELL DONE!! Year old spaniels, with established mind sets, can be tricky at best and little ******s at the worst!

I'd suggest that by exchanging his lawless and probably unhappy ways, for focus and work, he's come to respect you. ;)

It's nt all fun and giggles, there's days when I would merrily strangle him but we are getting there slowly!

You area braver soul than I !! An untrained Springer Spaniel at 12 months can be a canine hurricane, but once you've channelled those energies into some productive form you'll have no end of fun. Well done for taking on the challenge and good luck for the future. He'll be brilliant at agility if that interests you.
