Like the title says, I've been creative again
I've made a necklace and bracelet out of Ned hair!

The necklace was made a few months ago, so is a bit rough ^^ the bracelet is a bit more solid

You're right, they are very very expensive to get custom made :O

Ha, thanks for that (sulks off) they are a great thing to have will try and take pic of mine as have the necklace as well to give you an idea of what mine are like, but you should do very well with them. Will pm you when get the pics

How did you seal the ends with the metal clasp thingies ? I sell custom made horseshoes and have taken to attacking the ends of the plaits with nail varnish in sheer desperation to stop them unravelling

You just place the hair in the clasps, then I just bashed it shut with the end of a fork (all I had to hand )

Hehehe! I did feel awful cutting his wonderful tail! His mane is so pathetic, he makes up for it with his gorgeous tail

What you could do is make them from other peoples horse hair, then it makes it more personal to them. That is what I did, picked out the design I wanted and then sent the hair to them and they made them up for me, just an idea

I would love to make one from rosie horsies hair but she would be appaled at the idea of me snipping, I did however make one for my sis when we had trilby coblet but he had soooooo much hair... Too much lol

I made another this morning
That's my dog Annie's fur under there She was sleeping, no idea I was using her as a model!
