It's not what I expected to be doing today, but when you are out hacking and a flock of sheep come hurtling towards you, having passed the field that they were meant to go in, what choice do you have? 
The Farmers were shouting 'stop them, stop them' at me and their dog seemed to be totally distracted from the job in hand, so we turned them, herded them up the road and into the field. Poor chestnut mare wasn't sure, so danced about a bit, which I actually think helped as the sheep didn't like her stamping hooves (very wise). Anyhoo, I think that she'd be an ace sheep horse with a bit more practice.
