'Snowy' needs a new home; he's a white (hence the name) boxer cross staffie, 4 years old.

The problem is he been in a couple of fights with the other dogs at the farm where I work and where he spends the day.

He has free roam of over 60 acres of land, and spends most of the day with my mum's staffie, also 4yr old (they came as a pair). Late last year both of these dogs turned on my grooms dog, and today they repeated the event.

My baby is due in 2 weeks and he was on his last chance when he attacked my grooms puppy today, I can't risk my baby in this enviroment.

He needs a home with adults or older children, he adores cats and may be ok with another dog (he has never been a problem with my mums dog), also horses love him. He's great fun and obediant.

The RSPCA have been utterly useless and even though i told them 4 months ago i wanted him re-homed to give ample oppotunity to find a good home, they have not offered me any option (I got him from there as a puppy) even though at the time i adopted him they stressed i had to take him back there, if at any time i could no longer keep him.

He has to go, I've no option left and not a lot of time.
Please PM me if you know anyone that can offer him a home i will be eternally grateful.
 
I think the RSPCA are notoriously rubbish unless they're advertising how good they are!

He sounds gorgeous, like a sporty beast. Perhaps you could have a look on the web for a dog agility club in your area, get in contact with them and ask if they can help. You'd be surprised. They often are able to rehome dogs through word of mouth and i'm guessing he's a smart boy.

Before you start looking elsewhere I would check if you are allowed to re-home him without RSPCA"s consent.
Cant stand the beggers so dont know how they work but some rescues only let you loan the dog on an adoption scheme(long as everyone is happy dog is yours for life,they take it back if you cant keep it) and I think that may be the RSPCA policy too.
Last thing you need is to re-home him, have your baby(congrats

) then get a knock at door form them because you were not allowed to rehome him to start with.
 
Yes be careful if you can rehome him without their say so.
He sounds lovely, what a shame, if only I could have him as I love staffs and used to have a staff boxer cross. Best Of Luck xx
 
Why not try these 2 sites. They are both very busy and both have sections for private rehoming of dogs. So you could put him on them. They wll probably be able to give you lots of advice about rehoming as well. There are lots of rescue's and people looking for dogs that go on all the time. You could also loook on their ages for people looking for dogs and see if anyone there might be able to take him.

Thanks, nothing sorted yet. The RSPCA has a lot to answer for though, It's a compleat disgrace I will not recomend that anyone ever adopts through them.
Do they think this is a easy decision to make?
Almost 5 months they have had..................unbeliveable.
