A massive thank you to everyone who gave their opinions and advice. I now have a new best friend arriving next Tuesday and I feel like a kid at Xmas
He is 8 years old, very chunky cob gelding, approx 15.2hh.
He was an angel when I rode him...not even batting an eyelid when about 20 pheasants shot out at him and flew off!!!! He is a touch green from a schooling point of view but is responsive and really listens. He is snaffle mouthed at all times.
Mounting and dismounting was a breeze with him being a bit smaller than I'm used to but he takes up my leg well. He has been ridden out for hours at a time by a 6 ft 2" 16st bloke and he didn't appear to even notice he was there
Tuesday is wayyyy too far away lol.
