Finally found one that horse doesn't get off within a hour. It's a equilibrium midi one without ears as I thinks it's the ears on the others that he didn't like.

In 24hrs it's not budged :-)) so huge thumbs up xx

Another fan here; bought same one a month ago and it hasn’t budged an inch. My mare’s first mask and I didn’t expect it to last five minutes but she’s really settled in it.

One of mine has same mask, stays on really well! My other one has the full mask, stays on better than most but not as well as the midi! Like him to wear it though as it protects his pink nose from sunburn!

So glad to hear it cos just ordered one yesterday. Had to go get a shires one today cos her eyes were mega gunky but will donate that to granny horse. What I nightmare trying to get it on my 2 year old tho.

my 2 year old has the full face shires one as he gets really bothered by the flies, he has never got it off but liked it from the word go. Good job really as i can't reach him when he put his head up!!

Ingatestone saddlery sell them, they have a website. Bought two for mine and have to say they have stayed on very well.

You can get them on ebay too :)

I had one but without the easr and it survived a week before it went on the floor and a month before it got completely trashed to the point I had to sit and sew the damn thing back together.... I've had better luck with the premier equine one so far :)

Another vote for the Premier Equine one. I found the Equilibrium one very good with regard to staying on, but it rubbed behind the jaw. In fairness it does say not for 24hr use, but I have one that has to wear one 24/7 when the flies are out. The Premier Equine one doesn't move or rub.

I use a Cashel mask and it's lasted 2 years without any problems, that's also an earless one and is very easy to put on (and take off if you are human but apparently not if you're a horse)

I use the equilibrium ones too - they are great! Stoopid question though ... do you leave yours on overnight? I take mine off as I worry they won't be able to see in the dark, but its rubbish as the flies are worst late evenings and early mornings. Have you tried to peer through them in the dark? Must be like wearing sunglasses at night!!

I used to leae it on as he needed it on 24/7 and he never bumped into anything :)

Saying that another girl on the yard tried it on her horse and it kept shutting its eyes while it had it on so it got taken off pdq!
