After 28 years of driving, my first speeding fine. Rushing back from seeing Bree to get to work. Got done doing 36 in a 30.

Not a whine thought, it was a fair cop, shouldn't have been speeding (actually quite unlike me- I drive like a granny) and to be honest if as didn't notice the policeman standing in front of the cop car with a radar gun until it was too late I'm lucky they didn't do me for due care - muppet. :o

Luckily I think I'm going to get away with a speed awareness course - so 80 quid and a half days annual leave down the drain. It would only be 3 points, but if I get 7 I can't do my job which involves driving. Will have to declare it at work though.

Ah well.

Sorry, gonna sound a right meanie here, but maybe it will make you think when you are driving. At least no one was harmed.

Yes - I knew it would happen one day because I'm really holier than thou with the Abarth owners club guys when they whine about getting done.

So when do you find out?

(and please dont feel offended by my last comment, i was seriously injured in an accident by a speeding driver, maybe I take it too personally!)

Yes, I got done for 39 in a 30 - downhill though lol. We had a thunderstorm come on and I was eager to go and bring my boy in as I knew he'd be creating in the field! It annoys me as I go through the same road so many times a day and there's not been any police since and the amount of hgv 's that speed through it is scary .

Just make sure you leave plenty of time to get to the course would not do to get caught on the way there.
I left extra early to get to mine.

No bad ;). I am no fan of speeding and shouldn't have been going it. Lack of attention. I need to admit it was me first. Either way it's no big deal, except that my overdraft was finally starting to go down this month.

The course I did was really good I don't know if they vary ,the scary thing was when they took you though accidents where people had been killed and what lead up to the driver going to fast scary stuff really makes you think.
