After 28 years of driving, my first speeding fine. Rushing back from seeing Bree to get to work. Got done doing 36 in a 30.
Not a whine thought, it was a fair cop, shouldn't have been speeding (actually quite unlike me- I drive like a granny) and to be honest if as didn't notice the policeman standing in front of the cop car with a radar gun until it was too late I'm lucky they didn't do me for due care - muppet.
Luckily I think I'm going to get away with a speed awareness course - so 80 quid and a half days annual leave down the drain. It would only be 3 points, but if I get 7 I can't do my job which involves driving. Will have to declare it at work though.
Ah well.
