Here she is...Rosie. She's beautiful, 6 years old, 15.1hh.
Bred for racing but didn't quite make the grade, sold at Ascot to a complete numpty who left her in the care of a lovely lady whilst he went on holiday. She discovered a herd of horses (mostly cobs plus Rosie) in the blazing sun with no water and Rosie's leg was like a tree trunk as one of her shoes had twisted and the nail had gone into her hoof :( so she took Rosie on in her trailer and when the guy came back from holiday he said 'keep her!' as she'd spent so much money on the vet etc.
ANYWAY...Rosie is now coming to me, to be re-backed (she hasn't been ridden for 6 months and only really hacked previously) and brought on and hopefully do some eventing with me.

If you click on the thumbnail they should enlarge..

She looks lovely (I've got a Rosie - so a little biased :) )

Your friend could be very useful on any yard :)

It's funny because I was looking for a dark bay gelding between 15.2 - 16.2h and i've ended up with a chestnut mare at 15.1hh!! I'm a big believer in fate and I think it's played a part here. SOOOOOOOO Excited!!

Ha ha! Same here, I was looking for 15.2 dark bay gelding, my Rosie is 14.2/14.3 strawberry roan (so chestnut with white :) )

Hope you two get on as well as we have.
