So Lucy went really off the boil the last 2 events I did & ended up with 2 eliminations on our card. There was a little niggle at the back of my head but I needed to affirm it. I went to the beach & when I was galloping my saddle felt like it was sitting wonky. Went out to showjumping to do the 95cm which is well within her ability & it was a shambles, she was twisting over her fences, getting in short & taking poles all over.
After that I stopped jumping and got the saddle fitter out, as I thought it was far to tight & sitting to 1 side. 2 1/2 months having not jumped, got her back treated (luckily only little niggles) I could certainly feel the difference. Anyway got myself a lovely WoW saddle & had it fitted & adjusted on Tuesday. So took her out showjump schooling on Saturday, first time she had jumped in nearly 3 months & she was fantastic, I thought she would be a bit rusty but after a couple of fences she was back to normal & jumping out of her skin
