I have just had my new baby delivered this evening!!!
She is an 11 year old chestnut thoroughbred mare called Tango. She is absolutely stunning and despite travelling nearly 2 hours to get to me, she has taken it all in her stride. She looks like she is part of the furniture at the yard already!

I have kept her in tonight, as just wormed her straight away, shall i turn her out tomorrow?? Think is she will be out with other horses, or shall i leave her in for this first day?? Not sure what to do, any advice??

P.S i will post piccies as soon as i get my camera back (mum has nicked it tonight to show my dad what he spent his money on!!LOL)

Oh I can't wait to see pictures

What are your plans with her?

I have only started jumping, so long term i want to progress with this, but dressage mainly, and having lots and lots of fun hacking out, if we get a decent summer!!!

Ooooh big congratulations. I've had my new horsey for 5 weeks now and so far so good. We are mainly concentrating on dressage too - cos that's what he's good at. We are going to have our second go at hacking out alone tomorrow. He was fine the first time but I will still worry!!! Hope all goes well with your new girl.

I think the least number of horses she can go out with is 4 but that is a very huge field, so might be ok coz she will have her own space etc, she can go in a small paddock with one other but he is an evil git, i wouldnt want to be stood with him all day!!!
