After weeks of alternating between denial, crying and worrying, I have made the decision to re-home my Mini Shetland :-(
Due to our household and general living costs rising and income falling due to illness coupled with the winter looming, I've finally had to admit something has to give.
I have a 16.2 ID who has been passed around so much in his life due to his 'issues' that if I let go I know would continue to be passed on.
I also have a yearling colt who I fear would suffer the same fate.
I got my boy from a lovely lady who has her own yard and she has agreed to take him back until she finds him a good home. I feel like he is the only one I can let go knowing he will be safe and loved..
But I feel so bad. I will miss him so so much :-( even though I know it would be wrong to keep him when I can't afford to care for him properly.
Bit of a pointless post really but just felt the need to vent xx
