Why, oh why am I so clumsy? I was playing tug-of-war with her, with one of her soft toys and then she pulled it towards herself and let go but my hand kept on going

I hit her in the mouth and have now got a cut and bruised finger which has started to swell and which serves me right. Fortunately, my dog seems fine and is happily eating her breakfast and wagging her tail.

This is the same dog that I catapulted into the pond a couple of weeks back, when the cat ran through my legs and I stumbled forwards. Maybe I should re-home her to someone with better co-ordination

I know I shouldn't, but I can't help laughing!

I thumped Jasper in the head once, quite by mistake. I was thumping the seat cushions back on the sofa, as they'd slid fowards, when he walked alongside for me some unknown reason. He got the full force in his face. I felt so guilty...spaniel eyes have a way of making you feel guilty at the best of times!
 
I trip over mine quite a lot, and watched as a girl at training kicked her dog in the face by accident (she was throwing something for him and was giving it a bit of welly and he did kinda run into her foot in excitement)

Mine got whacked in the head last night, as I picked up our plastic log bucket he came running past me and whack he hit it head on. He looked at me as if to say what did you do that for!!!! He was fine after a big cuddle and lots of fuss.

I've fallen over Henry so many times, I am also guilty of calling him in the house, not getting a response, using my scary 'get here NOW' voice, then realising he was actually behind me the whole time

I always trip over her, but its never just the once... she gets in between your legs and you just keep tripping/kicking head then bum then head then

My little doggie is now happily lying on her bed tucking into a dog chew. She looks none the worse for her experience and my finger has stopped bleeding as well. I used to get called Clown Feet as a child. Do you think it could have anything to do with my severe clumsiness

My Mum was out beating one day. They were working the hedgerow - my Mum hitting it with her stick and the dog hunting in front of her - she managed to crack the dog full force on the noggin with her stick

I nearly managed to shut Otto's head in the car boot once

He normally stands clear, but this time he got in the way. It made a rather loud thud

The funniest thing I ever saw a dog do, was an Irish Setter we were looking after for a friend, she could be a bit scatty at the best of times!
One day she was mooching around the garden, sticking her nose in things....

She stuck her head in a cast iron bucket, but when she pulled it out her collar had caught on the handle. She panicked and ran off... with the her head still in the bucket!! She ran several laps of the garden with the bucket on her head before we could stop ourselves laughing and catch her.

I think my dogs get revenge for all your dogs, they play a bit rough and don't always look where they are running. The number of times I have been floored by, one, two or even all three! One minute I'm up, the next "whump!" on the back of the knees and I'm on my face.

To be fair, once they have stopped rolling around laughing they do come up and ask if I am OK.

Was sitting on the ground last summer unraveling electric fence wire, Blue was shaking his toy when he hit me in the shoulder blade, it hurt like mad and I got a huge bruise, but when I truned round there was a blood bath!! He split his lip open and as he carried on shaking the toy (typical cattle dog) he sprayed blood everywhere it was like a crime scene!!

Just managed to tape it up before one of his other personalities (Mr Nasty) made an appearance (he has lots of issues) luckily it healed beautifully!

I sat on mine last week. He was chasing a ball, not looking where he was going and ran through my legs and took them both out. I landed on him, and he didn't even wince, just extricated himself and went off after the ball. Dim labrador!
 
Our JRT's fave game is football, so she has had a couple of hefty kicks where she has 'ran into my foot'. It never puts her off though.

PMSL - that is such a lab thing to do! Our old one did that to a very teeny old lady once, and she ended up riding off on his back

My little border terrier has been booted in the head several times, he has been stood on (my excuse is that he bloody hides and decides to have a nap in the most ridiculous places!). The rhodesian ridge back ran into a car door that my mother opened on her, ovely visit to the vets for the dozy mut! she is actually a bit thick and walks into things all by herself. Ooooh when she was a puppy my brother (then 7) dropped her on her head. I blame him for her ditzyness.
 
My Jack Russel thought it would be a good idea to run between my legs on the top of the stairs, i managed to stop myself falling but by doing this i managed to take her legs out and she fell down the stairs
