hello.. i normally hang out in CR .. but i thought i'd say hi.. and our bitch has had her first litter.. 8.. (was nine :() black lab puppies... 1 bitch and 7 dogs :eek: .. 2 weeks old.. would put pics up.. but cant figure out how to!
where on earth do you start in naming them all for the kennell club>? any advice.. thanks :)

Have you got an affix registered? Doesn't matter if you don't, the KC will put one of their's on. We pick a theme to name puppies, last litter have been songs Rod Stewart has sung beginning with "M" - all our litters start with "M" because our affix starts with an "M", and Rod Stewart songs this time because the lady with the stud dog had a puppy back and wanted her registered as "Maggie May".

We've had detectives, flowers, birds etc
 
I let the new owners name their pups when I had a litter of Border Collies last year, they just had my affix at the beginning. I got to choose the name of their mum when I got her, in fact only 1 of my pups was already kc registered and named when I got him.

he he.. thanks for all your help.. i think we will have to come up with a theme.. my brothers are routing for bath rugby players.. the parents,.. gay singers.. etc.. my brothers chemistry teacher has just put in a deposit for "bunsen".. i think there will be great discussion this weekend :o:D

facebook, go onto the pic, press F5 to get the old version ;) then right click, copy image location paste here and add
the pick will show up whether your pics are private on fb or not :D
