Iveco eurocargo - automatic

Hi all

i have a 59 plate automatic eurocargo. when i last took it in for service, they told me they couldnt find an issue and i must admit i the issue hadnt occurred for months . However, the weekend before last, i was driving for about 1 hour 45 to a venue... totally fine on the way there. however, on the way home, out of nowhere it switched automatically to semi automatic . i was just driving along a straight road and i have no idea why? it is difficult as i need to then pull over, switch off the engine and restart for it them to go back into automatic.
Does anyone have any idea why it does this?

I’d bet on an electrical fault or a sensor.

Hi, I’m just wondering if you managed to find a solution? We are currently having the same issue with our 2010 eurocargo. It has had a full ECU refurbishment but is still going into semi automatic intermittently. Any advice would be great! Thank you
