I collected Misty and Ivy from stud yesterday and Ivy has unfolded and Im very happy with her. She is getting braver every day. Here are some photos of her first day out of the stable.

I think she wants to be a games pony judging by the last photo.

Thanks Im very happy with her, its the mares first foal and this year is my first go at breeding. She is full thoroughbred, ex racer out of Miss Whittington by Paris house.

My friends just sent me her photos of Ivy and they are much better so Ive added some more sorry for the photo overload!

Wow, that's a very very nice filly.

And may I say what a great choice of stallion for your mare - lovely mare with an absolutely beautiful face and great frame but you can see how Primitive Star has added that extra bone and topline on the baby. Very well done!

Thanks! I wanted something to add some bone and take a bit of the fizz off the thoroughbred lines. Primitive star is very impressive in person (bigger than I expected) I only heard praise for his temperament. Im thrilled with the outcome and cant wait to see how she turns out!

Don't apolagise for the pics, she is a stunner, I remember her from your post when she was born, I'm very impressed! Congratulations, you must be pleasedto get her home!x

Stunning filly - lucky you!

I have a Primitive Star mare who is now 6 years old, who looked almost exactly the same as your filly! She is an absolute delight and my horse of a lifetime. She is stunning, talented and has character (may or may not be a bonus!!!)

I wish I could breed another one, but sadly they will not collect Primitive Star for overseas shipping of frozen semen. If they ever do, I will be first in line for several doses.

Enjoy your filly, she really is a cracker!

Thanks for you reply I would love to see photos of your mare. Where abouts are you based?

Its a shame you cant get any of his semen such a nice stallion. I was surprised he wasn't used as much as the other louella stallions standing now like proposal.

I cant wait to see how she turns out shes getting braver by the day and is learning quickly.

She's a little cracker! I met her sire at the SSGB, and he IS a big boy, but magnificent, and with the most wonderful temperament. Great choice of stallion, and what a lovely outcome :)

Thanks everyone for your kind words I will keep you updated with her progress. Shes now decided to be a jumper as I let her out in the school today and there was a small cross pole up from a riding school lesson and she walked up to it and popped it twice and she wasn't even following mum over it! I will have to keep jumps and cones out of the way in the future.

I'm in New Zealand now.

I have loads of pictures of her from being born right through to now, but haven't got a photobucket account or anything to post them. I will put some up if I can work out how to do it!

Please do keep us updated on your filly.

OK, I have an album for her now on my profile and I'll have a go at posting a couple of the pictures. Really sorry if this doesn't work!!

Just born - first morning out in the paddock with mum

Will try to get some better pictures of her now, but she is turned away for 4 weeks for the winter at the moment. I'll bring her back into work shortly though.

Lovely Baby!

Glad I came across this thread as I have a Paris house mare who I may breed from next year and Primitive Star is on my short list of prospective boyfriends!!!

I will keep you updated with her progress but I would defo consider him Im so pleased with my filly. Who else is on your short list? Is your mare an ex racer too?

That would be great! Your filly is so lovely i would love Kleo to produce something like her!!

Its only half a plan at the moment. Im still trying to decide. She is injured so Im hoping she will come right!

When I say short list there are only 2 on it at the moment. Primitive Star is one and Jumbo is the other. Both stallions are boys I love in terms of looks, ability and temperament. My mare is one of lifes great over-reactors so I would like to tone down the TB fizzyness as well!!
