We rehomed an IWS mid February. He is delightful in every respect. However, for some reason his coat is getting very thin across his topline (saddle area) and is beginning to worry me. He has no flea / parasite infestation, and in any event we treated him just in case. He has been properly wormed. He is fed Applaws with a bit of chicken or minced lamb and is clearly on top form, shiny eyes, loads of energy. We walk at least two hours a day (he is mostly off lead) and I take him for a decent swim at least once a week, but usually twice. The rest of his coat is growing and shiny curls in good shape.
Any ideas about what may cause this ? Any suggested remedy ?
